Just been walking in the Wye Valley and these boots are excellent. I haven't worn them for walks deep in mud and water (I have a pair of Scarpa's for that) but they have had a good try out on steep, uneven and fairly muddy tracks and I've worn them to walk between 6 and 12 miles at a time. They are light, cool and comfortable and I would really recommend them for anyone who likes to go walking on trails and tracks. Being nubuck, I don't think they would do well with constant immersions in mud but I could be being over-cautious.

Comfortable and hard wearing. Only 4 stars as they don't have a zip which really helps taking them on and off.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
