I have bought Whisper boots for years in a range of colours. I gave very wide and always purchase an EEE fit. This year I have noticed a change in the fit - whilst the width is fine, the ankle is narrower and you can no longer just slip your feet straight in even with both zips open - the USP of Whisper boots in the past.
May I suggest that you review the current shape and design and return the heel width to its previous size to facilitate the easy on/off function of the earlier Whisper boots.

I buy boots from Hotter as they stock 4.5 which give me that extra room and comfort. Great for walking and the colour wine suits a lot of trousers. Would recommend.

These are my 4th pair of Whisper boots, none of which have worn out. They are so comfortable from the word go and now I have a colour to go with any outfit.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
